CONTEST RULES
WKID-FM / DIAL BROADCASTING INC. CONTEST RULES
- Contests are open to legal residents of Indiana, Ohio or Kentucky, 18 years of age or older (unless otherwise stated), except: employees of Dial Broadcasting Inc. or their immediate families. Also, employees and family members from other radio stations in the region are ineligible to win.
- Only one person per household is permitted to win per contest. Any person or persons found to be in violation of this policy before, during, or after the respective on-air and/or online contest will be disqualified and any prize or prizes will be forfeited.
- Winners must appear in person with proper positive legal identification to claim prize at the participating station between 8 am and 12 pm Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), within 30 days, and prior to the expiration date, or prize will be forfeited.
- Anyone who wins a prize but does not pick up the prize will be disqualified from any current or future contests hosted by WKID-FM at the discretion of the general manager.
- Prizes will not be mailed out or delivered to winners.
- All prizes are subject to IRS 1099 reporting. Winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes.
- No cash equivalent will be awarded for any contest prize.
- WKID-FM, Dial Broadcasting Inc. and it’s employees and vendors are not responsible for changes to the time, place, method, procedure, or cancellation of the event.
- WKID-FM, Dial-Broadcasting Inc… and their affiliated companies are not responsible for any claims, liabilities, injuries or damages arising out of or in conjunction with any prizes won in contests, nor are they responsible for any malfunction of equipment or telephone systems, internet, or email during this contest.
- Station management has the final decision as to the winner.
- All telephone calls to the participating station contest lines may be recorded and may be played back on the air for promotional purposes. In participating in our contests, you give the radio stations the right to publicize your name, likeness and voice by any media.
- Contests may be suspended, postponed or cancelled at the discretion of the station management.
- Contest void where prohibited by law.
- WKID-FM reserves the right to substitute prizes with those of equal value should the need arise.
- Anyone caught attempting to sell any prizes won during contests for any cash value will be disqualified permanently from any future contests on the station. If possible, station management will attempt to have tickets cancelled by the venue and voided.
- WKID, at all times reserves the right to amend/supplement and/or modify these Contest Rules with specific rules which shall be made available by WKID as appropriate and in the WKID’s sole discretion. Listeners’ and potential contest participants are urged to acquaint themselves with these specific contest rules in advance of their participation.
