On Monday October 19th Kentucky Fish and Wildlife were notified of a possible drowning at Lake Jericho in Henry County.
Dispatchers with the Kentucky State Police received a call at 6:30 p.m. that a four year old child had been pulled from the lake and was not breathing. Kentucky State Police Troopers, Officers with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, and Henry County EMS were dispatched. CPR was performed on the child until Henry County EMS arrived on scene. The child was then flown to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
During the evening hours of Thursday October 22nd the child passed away. Detectives with the Kentucky State Police have assumed the investigation of the drowning and an autopsy has been scheduled.
