You’ve likely noticed new “Road Construction Ahead” signs on State Road 56 between Brooksburg and Vevay and on State Road 129 from Vevay to Pleasant. We’ve been working to find out what the state is going to be doing, and after numerous attempts to contact INDOT, we contacted State Rep. Randy Frye, who got an answer for us!
Crews will be doing a patch and rehabilitation pavement project on State Road 56 from Shirks Hollow Road to State Road 129 and on State Road 129 from State Road 56 to State Road 250.
The contract for the project was awarded to Paul H. Rohe Company for $705,619.35. The project has a completion date of October 9, 2015.
Many thanks to State Rep. Randy Frye for obtaining this information for us. Drivers should expect delays in these areas as work begins.
