The Switzerland County School board met briefly on Wednesday night to hire for more vacant positions in the school corporation.
After promoting David Todd to the principal’s office at the high school earlier this month, the board approved hiring long-time middle school teacher Mark Boggs to be the assistant principal and athletic director at Switzerland County High School. Boggs has been a teacher at Switzerland County Middle School for 16 years and is a 1997 graduate of Switzerland County High School. He is the current Girls Varsity Basketball coach for the Pacers.
Also in the meeting, the board hired John Druba to take the helm at Switzerland County Elementary School in East Enterprise. Druba is well known throughout the community and school corporation as he served as a teacher for many years and retired as principal of Switzerland County Middle School several years ago.
This concludes the searches for many important administrator roles within the corporation. Earlier this month, the board hired former pacer Rod Hite to the superintendent’s position and hired David Todd as the new high school principal.
