On June 5th, 2017 the Lawrenceburg Police Department responded to the area of Arch and Euphemia St for a vehicle crash.
During the course of the investigation it was discovered that a confrontation had occurred between multiple people leaving Concept’s Gentlemen’s Lounge. According to the information we have received to-date, the victim involved in the confrontation displayed a firearm. One of the men from the confrontation got into a 2016 yellow Ford Mustang and began driving recklessly on the street.
The driver was identified as 46 year old Richard Harris of Ravenna, OH. Harris drove directly towards the victim. The victim was barely able to get out of the way of the Mustang. After narrowly missing him, Harris drove directly into the side of the victim’s 2007 silver Mercedes.
Responding Officers found Harris at the scene and while speaking with him observed signs of impairment. Harris was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder a Level 1 Felony, Attempted Aggravated Battery a Level 3 Felony, Criminal Recklessness a Level 6 Felony and Operating While Intoxicated a Class A Misdemeanor.
