Around 1:25am on Saturday morning, April 8, 2017, a deputy with the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on South Walnut Street in Rising Sun. The vehicle had no operational tail lights.
While speaking to the driver, 20 year old Alexis Green, of Patriot, the deputy could smell the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.
During a search, multiple pills identified as 30 mg Oxycontin were found in Green’s possession.
Also found in Green’s vehicle were bags of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Green was charged with Possession of a Narcotic Drug (Schedule II) a Level 6 Felony, Possession of Marijuana a Class B Misdemeanor, and Possession of Paraphernalia a Class C Misdemeanor.
