A Switzerland County woman is in jail after deputies find meth and other drugs at her residence.
Around 11pm on Tuesday evening (11/8/16), sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Phillips Road in Cotton Township in an attempt to serve two felony arrest warrants on Rebecca Hart for trafficking with an inmate and dealing in methamphetamine.
Deputies arrived and were given consent to search the residence, and Hart was located and apprehended. During the search, K-9 Deputy Kate located approximately 16 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Hart was arrested on the warrant and was additionally charged with dealing in methamphetamine (level 2 felony), possession of methamphetamine (level 4 felony); possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia (class A misdemeanors).
Hart was incarcerated in the Switzerland County jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
