On Friday, November 4th, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m. Boone County Sheriff’s detectives arrested 37-year-old Jeffrey D. Cahill at his residence on Cherbourg Drive in Union, KY.
Detectives received information in October of this year that Cahill, who is HIV positive, carried on a long-term sexual relationship with a woman without notifying her that he was HIV positive. After identifying the victim and investigating the initial report, Detective Melody Frank presented the case to a Boone County Grand Jury and received an indictment warrant on Jeffrey Cahill this week.
Jeffrey Cahill was lodged at the Boone County Jail and charged with eight (8) counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, a Class D Felony.
