November 7, 2016, @ approximately 10:46 PM Jefferson County Sheriff Deputies responded to a residence on November Street, Hanover, Indiana, reference a reported stabbing. The male victim, identified as Donald T. Wynn 27, Hanover, Indiana, reported that he was stabbed in the arm by several unknown males, while attending a gathering at a residence in Hanover. Wynn was transported to KDH-ER where he received treatment for a severe laceration to his right arm.
November 8, 2016, @ 9:34 AM The Hanover Police Department and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a burglary @ the Hanover Flea Market. The investigation was led by H.P.D. Chief Josh Taylor, and J.C.S.D. Detective Yancy Denning. As a result of the investigation, Donald Wynn was developed as a suspect in the burglary, and was later located by officers at a residence in Scott County, Indiana. After further investigation, officers took Wynn into custody, and transported him to the Jefferson County Jail. Property taken in the burglary, which included a number of various knives, was also recovered.
Donald T. Wynn is currently incarcerated in the Jefferson County Jail on a preliminary alleged charge of burglary; level 5 felony. Wynn’s bond is $1000.00 cash only. Sheriff John Wallace, Corporal Nate Green, Detective Tim Armstrong, and Deputy C.J. Miller assisted with this ongoing investigation.
