The Indiana Department of Transportation will immediately begin repairing pavement failures at slide sites in Switzerland and Ohio Counties on State Road 156, S.R. 250 and S.R. 262. INDOT Aurora Subdistrict maintenance crews will mill off damaged pavement, then pave at the following highway locations:
S.R. 156 between mile markers 2.0 and 5.0.
Repairs will be made tomorrow (MAY 12)—weather permitting—on S.R. 156 east of Vevay in Switzerland County. There will be milling and paving at multiple locations between Plum Creek Road and Markland Pike Road.
S.R. 250 between mile markers 67.0 and 68.0
INDOT crews plan to repair pavement damaged by slide movement at the hill on S.R. 250 just outside of Patriot in Switzerland County. If weather allows, this operation will take place next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (MAY 16, 17 & 18).
S.R. 262 between mile markers 4.0 and 6.0.
Next Thursday (MAY 19) is the tentative date set for repairing S.R. 262 south of U.S. Highway 50 in Ohio County between Hartford Pike and Milton Bear Branch Road near Dillsboro.
INDOT flaggers will be present at all repair sites to direct traffic around workers and equipment. Motorist may experience delays of up to 15 minutes while milling and paving operations are in progress.

Chip and fog seal pavement preservation applications will occur next month at the following highway locations within the Aurora Subdistrict:
- S.R. 62 from the south junction of S.R. 129 five miles to the north junction of S.R. 129
- S.R. 129 from the north junction of S.R. 62 sixteen miles to U.S. 421
- S.R. 101 from U.S. 50 thirty-five miles to Interstate 74
