In early Februay 2016, Detective Kurtis Wallace, Detective Tyson Eblen, and Detective Jonathon Simpson met with a Madison Police Informant who stated they could purchase methamphetamine from Jacqueline Rose Cole, AGE 22. Detectives were familiar with Cole through past investigations and knew that she was currently on Jefferson County Community Corrections on previous methamphetamine related charges. Detectives recently learned that Cole had failed multiple drug screens testing positive for methamphetamine.
The Madison Police Informant made arrangements to purchase methamphetamine from Cole at her residence. Once the arrangements were made, Detectives were able to conduct and monitor a controlled buy for methamphetamine. Based on the investigation, on February 15, 2016, Detective Simpson and Detective Wallace went to Cole’s residence and placed her under arrest for Dealing Methamphetamine and Maintaining Common Nuisance.
